The saliva drug test kit is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of multiple drugs and drug metabolites in saliva at the following cut-off concentrations.
TEST PROCEDURE:
Allow the test kit to reach room temperature (15-30℃)prior to testing.Do not place anything in the mouth
including food, drink, gum,or tobacco products for at least 10 minutes prior to collection of saliva specimen.
1.Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test from the sealed pouch and use it as
soon as possible.
2.Remove the collector from the sealed pouch.Insert the sponge into the mouth.Close mouth and move the sponge around for saliva collection.Soak sponge in saliva and swab the inside of the mouth and tongue. Collect saliva for 3 minutes until sponge is soft and fully saturated. The sponge will be free from hard spots when saturated.
3.Place the test kit on a clean and level surface.Hold the collector upright and insert the sponge into the specimen
well of the test kit.Use the thumb and index finger to squeeze the sponge till red colored liquid appear.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS:NEGATIVE:
One colored line appears in the control region(C),one colored line apears in the corresponding drug test region(T).
This negative result indicates that the drug concentration is below the detectable level.
*NOTE:The shade of color in the test line region(T)will vary, but it should be considered negative whenever there is
even a faint distinguishable color line.
POSITIVE:
One colored line appears in the control region (C).No line appears in the corresponding dug test region(T).This
positive result indicates that the drug concentration is above the detectable level.
INVALID:
Control line fails to appear.Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons
for control line failure.Review the procedure and repeat the test using a new test kit.If the problem persists, stop using
the lot immediately and contact your supplier.
